In front of a massive audience, the powerful voice of Alejandra Guzmán opened the concert at the Arena CDMX with the song Mírala, Míralo, one of her many hits that are now classics.
This weekend’s concert in Mexico was the presentation of her new album titled “Alejandra Guzmán: Live at The Roxy”, which was recently released on September 6 and is now available on CD/DVD and across all digital platforms. This new album is a collection of classic rock songs in Spanish as a tribute, and also includes 2 unreleased songs from Alejandra’s own inspiration.
There were special guests throughout the special performance: Pipo Rodriguez, former vocalist of Los Ángeles Azules interpreted the song Cariñito Corazón composed by Alejandra Guzmán. During the song Viento, Sabo Romo, bassist of Los Caifanes, joined La Guzman on bass to perform one of the best-known songs of that group which is featured in her new album produced by Sebastian Krys and Juan De Dios Martin.
During the concert, Alejandra Guzmán was accompanied by excellent musicians on stage along with her powerful voice, charisma and intimate communication through songs that her fans sang and vibrated with, making Alejandra give the microphone to her loyal audience in more than one song for them to sing in unison some phrases of her greatest hits. La Guzmán is a force on stage, a place where she feels fully happy sharing with her audience and receiving the love and admiration earned through 3 decades of her uninterrupted artistic career. To wrap up her incredible night, her record label Universal Music Mexico gave her a plaque on stage in recognition of her 30 years of trajectory.
It was an unforgettable concert: spectacular and full of emotions. A show that must be experienced rather than heard; an experience and communion with La Guzmán, who devotes herself to the stage with heart and soul and for which she is for her audience an Eternamente Bella woman, and although some insist that she is a Mala Hierba, she is and will continue to be the Reina de Corazones.
La Guzmán Tour will continue in the U.S.A. this coming September 14 at the Honda Center and in La Vegas on September 15 at the Mandalay Bay, where Alejandra Guzmán will celebrate the Mexican Independence.
