4-time GRAMMY® and 22-time Latin GRAMMY® winning artist Alejandro Sanz returns with a powerful collaboration with Grupo Frontera, titled “Hoy no me siento bien” this new track marks the second preview of his upcoming and highly anticipated album, as well as his second release under Sony Music.
Produced by GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® winner Edgar Barrera, “Hoy no me siento bien” fuses the distinct styles of Alejandro Sanz and Grupo Frontera, the band had this to say:
For us to work on a song like ‘Hoy no me siento bien’ with an artist of Alejandro Sanz’s caliber makes us very proud because we have infinite respect for him.
We are delighted with the result. The fusion of genres gives a great dimension to the song and the fact that we were able to work hand in hand with him and Edgar allowed us to add a little piece of our musical imagination to the song in a very natural way.
The release is supported by a music video directed by Greg Ohrel, who worked with Sanz on the visual for “Palmeras en el jardín”. The video takes place in a block party that highlights both the good and the bad of these celebrations: the ups and downs, the joy, but also the conflicts. The contrast gives life to the lyrics of the song, conveying the message that not feeling good is also valid while remembering that nothing is forever.
