Alex Fernández continues the musical legacy of the Fernández Dynasty with the release of his new album, Buscando El Olvido.
Fernández said about the album:
The truth is that I couldn’t be more proud of the album.
It’s a super balanced record. Everything is fresh: the music, the videos, the photos! This is the record where I open up to people. There is great mariachi, a myriad of musical genres, songs that inspired me as a child and several unpublished ones that say a lot about who I am and how I live.
Buscando El Olvido is an eclectic mixture of mariachi, sierreño, and a bit of banda, this album is solidifying Fernández as a true artist. Yes, he’s continuing the Fernández legacy but this album is also shaping his very own musical legacy.
The album includes a cover of a classic by Mijares, “El Privilegio de Amar” and another by Franco de Vita, “Te Amo”; a song dedicated to his daughter “El Mejor Regalo” and songs written by Eden Muñoz, “Buscando el Olvido,” “La Mejor Decisión” “Y Como es el.”
Alex is currently preparing for his tour with dates in the US and Mexico.
