LA-based Alt-R&B artist Alt Bloom released his new track “Damn Baby.”
The track encapsulates singer/songwriter Ethan Thompson’s nostalgia for LA weather and summer romance, much like his first single of 2020, “West Coast.“
The idea “Damn Baby” came about during a flight for Alt Bloom, he said:
It was written top to bottom on a plane – I still have a voice memo of me whispering the lyrics into my phone, trying not to tick off my fellow passengers. Hence the line “I’m writing songs ’bout you on the back of a plane. It ended up being one of my favorite tracks to play live.
“Damn Baby” is Alt Bloom‘s second track release of this year and just the latest in a series of notable tracks released through 2019. Alt Bloom’s momentum continues well into 2020 with a five-song EP slated for the top of the year followed by a string of new music to be released throughout the spring and summer.
