Chani Nicholas, the astrologer and author of the New York Times bestselling book You Were Born for This: Astrology for Radical Self-Acceptance, announces the launch of a new astrology and mindfulness app, CHANI, now available for iPhone.
The app was built in partnership with the development team AnnieCannons, Inc, a queer-led software development agency whose engineers have experienced human trafficking and/or gender-based violence.
Not only was the app built by professional astrologers and an engineering team of survivors, but also 5% of all app profits will be disbursed directly to Black, Latinx, Native/Indigenous, Queer, and/or Trans survivors of gender-based violence by FreeFrom.org, a nonprofit also helmed by Chani Nicholas Incorporated’s CEO, Sonya Passi, that supports survivors’ financial security and safety. Over the last 4 years, Chani Nicholas Incorporated has raised and donated over half a million dollars for the organization.
