Stephanie Fryling, Vice President of Merchandising, Children’s Books, at Barnes & Noble, said:
The Storytime Pajama Party for Chris Van Allsburg’s The Polar Express is one of our most loved Barnes & Noble holiday traditions. Each year, families look forward to gathering at our stores in their favorite pajamas to celebrate the holidays with this treasured story.
Children and their families are invited to join their local Barnes & Noble on Friday, December 7, at 7 p.m., for Storytime featuring The Polar Express, the story of a young boy who is welcomed aboard on a magical trip to the North Pole, where he gets to make his Christmas wish. Following the reading, attendees can participate in special holiday-themed activities, which include putting on temporary holiday tattoos, creating Santa beard masks and more. They can also receive a free Christmas ornament, while supplies last.
