Platinum – certified, alt – rock band Beach Weather gets caught in a love-fueled heatwave on new single “Hottest Summer On Record” out now via Arista Records.
This track, laced with pulsing beats and infectious melodies, proves that Beach Weather can handle the heat. Guitarist Sean Silverman explains more about the origin of the track:
‘Hottest Summer On Record’ came about after a trip to Joshua Tree and taking mushrooms for the first time. It was the perfect summer day that felt more like a mirage than reality. When we got back to Phoenix, Nick and I had been working on a few other starts but this one really stood out. There’s this great tension release in the build up to the chorus that sort of felt reminiscent of getting to the apex of this amazing trip where you are equal parts euphoric and nervous that it would end.
