Artist and model Benicio Bryant released new single “Gameboy,” an ultimate pop bop with provocative lyrics and a parallel pulsating beat.
The titillating track is from Benicio’s forthcoming debut EP POPSTAR, an unapologetic ode to pop music and pop culture. Benicio had this to say about “Gameboy”:
I just loved the idea of making this song a vocal trap song. Like ‘ga-a-ame.’ I liked it sounding synthetic, and very fake. Like I liked it sounding like digital. Some of the sounds are scary and abrupt, I think that’s good, it’s fun! Pop isn’t supposed to be perfect, it’s supposed to be risky and a party.
