Ahead of their long awaited 25th anniversary celebrations taking place next month, pop-punk favorites Bowling For Soup has debuted a new single, cover of punk rock legends Suicide Machines’ classic song “Sometimes I Don’t Mind.” The track has been given a very special reworking, sounding as much a Bowling For Soup song as some of their biggest hits, and is accompanied by a music video.
Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Gary Wiseman and Rob Felicitti will celebrate Bowling For Soup’s twenty five years together with a long weekend of celebrations in Bowling For Soup’s home, the great state of Texas.
The Bowling For Soup 25th anniversary celebrations kick off on Thursday June 6th with a very special live edition of the wildly successful film podcast, Jaret Goes To The Movies! This edition of the podcast will feature The Last Dragon, and Taimak, the star of The Last Dragon will be in attendance to take part in the podcast. Tickets for this event will include dinner plus attendance to the podcast event. Meet & Greet opportunities with Taimak will also be available separately.
Friday June 7th will see good friends of Bowling For Soup, The Nixons, headline The Lava Cantina, supported by very special guests in the shape of Offended By Everything. The night will be hosted by Bowling For Soup, and there will be a very special after party. Ever wanted to do Bowling For Soup Karaoke, WITH Bowling For Soup themselves? This is your chance!
On Saturday June 8th, Bowling For Soup will take to the stage themselves at The Lava Cantina, for a night filled with all your favourite Bowling For Soup hits. Their good friends and one of the most impressive young acts in America currently, Not Ur Girlfrenz, will be opening the proceedings.
