The end of an era.
Britney Spears has confirmed the her record breaking Las Vegas residency, Piece of Me, is coming to an end on December 31st.
Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, recently told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that her contract with Caesar’s Entertainment ends on Dec. 31, but the show may continue “conceivably anywhere.”
Meaning, Piece of Me, could could to an all-new Las Vegas venue. This is what Rudolph said:
We are done with this show, and our next move is undecided. We are still talking with Caesars Entertainment and other interested parties in Las Vegas.
Anything is possible. We have made zero decisions. We expect a lot of interest from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward.
Rumor has it, Spears could be announcing a world tour and maybe even release a new album. We do however know that Spears will be performing in Hong Kong and Israel this Summer.
