Regional Mexican music superstars Calibre 50 are starting a new phase of their music careers with a new lead vocalist, after weeks of searching the wait is finally over, Juan Antonio Elizondo Álvarez aka Tony Elizondo joins the group.
Elizondo who is from San Nicolás de Los Garza Monterrey Nuevo León joins Armando Ramos, Erick García, and Alejandro Gaxiola…and rumor is that another person could be joining the group, but so far that’s a rumor. Watch the groups first performance with Elizondo below.
Calibre 50 launched a #YoSoyCalibre50 talent search a couple of weeks back and although they still weren’t sure who the new lead vocalist would be, they shared a video of Elizondo performing one of their biggest hits “A La Antigüita,” you can watch it below.
On March 11th, Calibre 50 will release their highly-anticipated new single with Elizondo as the lead vocalist, and they’ll be announcing dates for their US tour set to launch in April.
