Camila Fernández is not stopping; she solidifies herself as the boss of Regional Mexican with the release of her new single, “Las Ganas,” in which she presents another side of heartbreak: the nostalgia that remains when nothing is left.
“Las ganas” is accompanied by an official video, in which Camila inhabits various scenes in a traditional mansion, representing emotions like longing, anger, and melancholy. The emptiness of each room, combined with Camila’s powerful performance, portrays the profound loneliness felt after the end of a meaningful relationship.
If new music wasn’t enough, Fernández made waves in Mexico City with a SOLD-OUT show at the Lunario of the Auditorio Nacional, one of the most iconic venues in Mexico. Fernandez performed some of her hits including “Todo, todo”, “Se cancela la llorada”, and “Cuándo se ha visto”. She also paid tribute to Juan Gabriel with songs such as “Siempre estoy pensando en ti” and “Fue un placer conocerte,” and celebrated her female role model, Rocío Dúrcal, with “Costumbres,” written by the Divo de Juárez and immortalized in the voice of the most Mexican of Spaniards.
