Canela.TV Celebrates Dad with ‘Dad’s Faves’

In celebration of Father’s Day, the streaming service Canela.TV has a special collection called Dad’s Faves, featuring a variety of action, drama, and comedy titles, all available for free and in Spanish.

If you enjoy drama and action, the collection includes all four ‘Hunger Games’ movies, as well as the film ‘Deepwater Horizon’ with Mark Wahlberg, which will surely keep you on the edge of your seat. In addition, if you are looking for content with a heartfelt and meaningful storyline, Dad’s Faves also features the film ‘Instructions Not Included,’ starring the renowned actor Eugenio Derbez, telling the story of how a Mexican bachelor turns into a loving father when a past lover leaves her daughter on his doorstep. However, if you prefer to celebrate Father’s Day with something lighter, this collection includes comedy titles like ‘Un Padre No tan Padre,’ among many others for the family’s enjoyment.

Also included in the collection, during the month of June the entertainment news program ¡PONLE CANELA! celebrates Father’s Day with four interviews titled ‘Papás Superhéroes’ with recognized names in the entertainment and sports industry who are also fathers. In the free Canela.TV streaming service, you can now find the interviews with Mexican boxer Jorge “El Travieso” Arce, and singers Carlos BauteEmir Pabón, and El Komander where they share the type of father they are and how happy they are to be living the experience.

100% FUTBOL on Canela Deportes will premiere interviews with former professional soccer players sharing their experiences becoming dads on June 15 and 18. During these conversations, we learn more about the joys and challenges of being a father from former soccer players Bruno Marioni of Argentina, and La Palma Rivas (Jose Rivas Mortera) from Mexico. These two played for teams like Toluca, Club Atlas and the Tigers, which gave them plenty of moments to share during these entertaining segments.

Canela News has joined the celebration with a special investigative segment titled ‘Papás Modernos.’ This two-part special explores the evolution of fatherhood throughout history and the importance of their role within the family. Addressing the topic from an anthropological and psychological perspective, the reports also feature real-life cases of fathers who have become exemplary parents. ‘Papás Modernos’ will premiere one report per day on Thursday, June 15, and Friday, June 16
