Carín León Breaks Barriers and Crosses Borders with new Album, “Boca Chueca, Vol. 1”

One of the most influential artists in Mexican music globally, Carín León releases his highly-anticipated new album Boca Chueca, Vol. 1.

León might be known for dominating Regional Mexican music, but in his latest album he’s taking on country, pop and rock. It represents a deep exploration of his essence, blending the music he has listened to all his life with his own style.

León said:

My new album is very special to me because it was created amidst concerts, award shows, and being on the road. It was an embrace and a reconciliation with aspects that are often considered negative but are also part of me. These demons represent the pressure from people and critics, reflecting who Oscar Armando is as a human being translated into Carín. These songs capture important feelings of what I am experiencing. The cover reflects my essence and the transformation in this album, connected to my less gentle side.

The album features collaborations with artists like Kane BrownLeon BridgesPepe Aguilar, Bolela, and Panteón Rococó

“Boca Chueca Vol. 1” is the follow up to the hugely successful “Colmillo de leche,” which reached number eight on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart last year and placed three of its tracks at #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican chart.

If that wasn’t enough, León achieved a milestone by conquering one of the most iconic country music venues, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. This feat underscores his versatility and international reach, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in music.
