Carin León Takes Home Latin GRAMMY for “Best Regional Mexican Song”

Carin León continues to establish himself as one of the most outstanding and influential figures in music today, and for the Sonora-born artist, 2022 only continues to get better. Last night, at the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards, he took the next monumental step forward in his already illustrious career, bringing home the prestigious award for “Best Regional Mexican Song” in recognition of his stunning collaboration with fellow Mexican act Matisse, “Como lo hice yo.”

Without a doubt, Léon’s new Latin Grammy is undeniable proof not only of the incomparable talent he brings to today’s Latin music landscape, but also of his potent ability to transform its trajectory going forward, all while positively altering the global perception of regional Mexican music as a genre. 2023 will hold more surprises from this extraordinary legend-in-the-making, a year that will see the release of an exceptional new album as well as several exciting live performances, including highly anticipated appearances at the famed “Vive Latino” and “Pa’l Norte” festivals in the spring.
