Carín León ventures into Caribbean sounds with his latest single “La Chancleta” featuring Carlos Vives and Chimbala.
The track composed by León, Vives, and Chimbala along with Santiago de Jesús, Geraldy Reyez Volquez, and Bryan Peguero (B-One) features an uptempo Caribbean sound. The “chancleta” – a Latin cultural symbol – becomes the thread that ties together this story of overcoming heartbreak, where there’s no time for sorrow but plenty for enjoying life and friendships.
The video directed by Jessy Terrero was shot in Miami, it whisks us away to desert landscapes, where the performers immerse themselves in a series of parties where dancing takes center stage.
