Global powerhouse CNCO recently launched its first promo tour of Asia to widespread excitement and pandemonium. First stop was Japan, where they took over the charts and made everybody fall in love with them.
Upon their arrival in Tokyo, hundreds of fans and local media greeted the five boys at the airport.
As part of their promotional agenda in Asia, CNCO performed at some of Japan’s most important TV shows including Music Station – setting off the rest of the tour. They also appeared on the renowned Sukkiri Morning Show; both times performing the massive global hit “Reggaetón Lento”. Following these appearances, they captured the #1 on LINE’s Top 100, #5 album on iTunes Overall and #2 on the Pop Charts.
During the six days promotional tour, CNCO met with TV, radio, online and print media; each time winning over new fans and garnering the respect of everyone they met.
One of the highlights of the trip was their first ever showcase in Japan. The group hosted a Fan Event at Venus Fort where starting at 2pm, fans began lining up for a chance to just get a glimpse at the band. Reaching capacity, an audience of 1,000 eventually assembled as CNCO took over the stage and delivered an unforgettable set. Throughout the five-song concert, they boys energized international smashes such as “Solo Yo,” “Hey DJ,” and “Reggaetón Lento.”
Afterwards, fans who purchased the album CNCO Japan Edition met the quintet through a sea of hugs and high-fives.
