GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-nominated Puerto Rican artist-production duo, COASTCITY, released new single “SKYFALL” coupled with striking gloomy visuals.
The poignant Latin Alt-R&B ballad is part of their forthcoming EP and was produced and written by the duo alongside Erik Michael Estrada and Grammy-winning artist and songwriter Claudia Brant. This is what COASTCITY said about the track:
We started writing the melody and concept on a dock overlooking the bay under a beautiful star-studded sky. We later reached out to our good friend Claudia Brant to help us tie in the story lyrically and complement the vibe. We really want our listeners to feel an out-of-body type of experience when listening to this piece of art.
The visuals were shot in Daytona, FL, and directed by Kyle Loftus (Casey Conroy, Seanii, Andrew W.K.) taking the viewer on an emotional journey to the beautiful yet dark places love can take us to. The video follows two lovestruck individuals taking a leap into the unknown and committing to going to hell and back for each other.
