Conexión Divina, made up of Ashlee, Liz and Sandra, announce the release of their debut album Tres Mundos. This marks their first album release with Sony Music Latin.
The album is called Tres Mundos for two reasons: it’s the number of members that make up the band (Ashlee, Liz, and Sandra), and it also represents the three worlds in which each member has grown, the United States, Mexico, and that “third world” that is formed by bringing together the cultures of each country.
The new album includes the focus track “Paso A Pasito,” a corrido written by Ashlee. With this corrido, the three members want to show the world that women can also be part of the genre, and any genre at large. The track is a collaboration with Gabito Ballestereos, the first male artist that will share a track with the women that make up the new generation of sierreño.
In addition to corridos, the album includes a collaboration with Los Aptos and a song in English, “Only You,” which was written by Ashlee and Liz. “Delito” is another incredible track, which is the first one completely composed by the vocalist, Liz Trujillo. Conexión Divina is making history as the world’s first Gen-Z female group in the sierreño genre. The trio of young Mexican-Americans not only sing, but also write their own songs and play their own instruments.
