Crimson Apple Rock The Mint in L.A.

Pop/rock quartet, Crimson Apple, rocked the iconic L.A. venue The Mint on January 31st.

Incase you don’t know who they are, Crimson Apple are a pop/rock group made up of four sisters Colby, Shelby, Carthi and Faith Benson, originally from Hawaii, the quartet re-located to L.A. and are already taking the L.A. music scene by storm. Their showcase at The Mint showed of their talent and proved that they are a rock band not to be messed with.

Colby, the lead vocalist has the voice of an angel, it’s like if you took some of Hayley Williams of Paramore and some of Amy Lee of Evanescence, mix it together and you get Colby Benson, trust us, she has a voice that can tear the roof off any venue. Shelby, the guitarist is on a whole other level, she reminded us of rock legend Slash. Carthi, the bass player reminded us of Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, she’s that good. Faith, the drummer, is one bad ass drummer, imagine if Dave Groghl and Travis Barker had a kid, it would be Faith, she’s just on another level.

Crimson Apple are a band like no other, these sisters can rock any stage and blow the roof off any venue.
