To celebrate the 40th anniversary of David Bowie‘s iconic single, “Heroes,” Depeche Mode have released a cover video of the track.
The video directed by Tim Saccenti features Depeche Mode in a dimly lit room as they perform the track. In a press release, Depeche Mode lead singer Dave Gahan said:
‘Heroes’ is the most special song to me at the moment. Bowie is the one artist who I’ve stuck with since I was in my early teens. His albums are always my go-to on tour and covering ‘Heroes’ is paying homage to Bowie.
