Two iconic rocks bands face-off for the title of ERocks Best Rock Artist, Foo Fighters and The Killers.
Why only two rock bands going face-to-face? Well, 2017 wasn’t the best year for rock music, and honestly, Foo Fighters and The Killers had the best albums of 2017. Their sounds evolved which showcased why they continue to be music icons.
Concrete and Gold, the ninth studio album from Foo Fighters spawned two massive singles “Run” and “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” and debuted at the top of the music charts in the U.S. and UK, plus they launched their own music festival, CalJam, which sold out passes in minutes. 2018 is sure to be an even bigger year because they’ll be out on the road and we hear rumors they could release a new album. So, yes, Foo Fighters had a great year!
It took them five years, but The Killers released their fifth studio album, Wonderful Wonderful in 2017 and it is one their best album’s to date. The album has spawned two hit singles, “The Man” and “Run For Cover,” third single “Rut” will be released to radio on Dec. 29th. They’ll be hitting the road starting in January 2018 to promote Wonderful Wonderful.
