It’s coming down to the wire, the end of another year is upon us, which leads up to the #EROCKS Best Songs of 2021.
There’s no doubt in our mind that 2020 opened the doors to a lot of creativity and 2021 proved it, from Regional Mexican to Pop, EDM to Country. There was a lot of great music, and we congratulate every artist that poured their heart and soul into their music, it was tough, but these are the best of the best.

Colatura, the dreampop trio from Brooklyn, their single “We Run On Empty” is a gem. A track that relays a steady, almost imperceptible, loss of identity that comes with finding oneself in a toxic relationship, and let’s be honest at one point in our lives we’ve all been in a toxic relationship. Thank you Colatura for pouring y’all’s heart into “We Run On Empty.”
goodboy noah, a rising Los Angeles-based pop, and R&B-influenced singer-songwriter, if you’re a fan of Bruno Mars, The Weeknd then you’ll love goodboy noah. We’re telling you now, goodboy noah will be a major star, just you wait, consider this your introduction. “Buggin” is a sultry R&B anthem, grab a glass of wine and turn it up!
Noso, shorthand for North/South: A nod to their Korean heritage. “Suburbia” is a melancholic pop gem, from the sultry vocals to the atmospheric beat, it’s a hit, there are no words, congrats Noso!
Deorro, yes, he’s had a couple of mainstream hits, but there aren’t many DJ’s especially those who are Latino that have the kind of exposure that other DJs have. Deorro is the perfect example, now, his single “Si TúNo Estás Aquí with LÚA a Mexican singer-songwriter is beautiful. It starts off mellow but it picks up and it transforms into a dreampop dance anthem. C’mon, get it together, Deorro deserves a bigger audience!
Jaci Butler, L.A. based singer-songwriter and creator with over four-million followers on TikTok is without a doubt a pop star in the making “Heartbreak Season” is a feelgood track even though it’s about breaking up, sometimes you just have to break some pictures and get rid of that individual’s toxic aura. Jaci does that perfectly with both the song and video.
Fehr Rivas, Los Angeles-based Mexican sing-songwriter is a star in the making, from working in radio Mega 96.3fm to rocking out on stage, there is nothing he can’t do. His debut album Rockmántico is filled with songs that can be certified hits, “Yo Te Espero” is the perfect example. The track talks about a love that you’re willing to wait for, haven’t we all been in that situation, when that person isn’t ready but you’re willing to wait for them, simply beautiful. If you’re a fan of Juanes, Bunbury, then you’ll love Fehr Rivas, remember the name!
