Floyd Mayweather and  John Gotti III Faced off In an Intense Exhibition Fight

Floyd Mayweather & John Gotti III at exhibition fight at FLA Live Arena, sponsored by HQD

Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III faced off in their highly-anticipated exhibition fight on Sunday, June 11th at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida and it was intense. The highly-anticipated fight was sponsored by HQD.

Mayweather, the heavyweight champ faced off against Gotti (grandson of infamous crime boss John Gotti), the pair were five rounds into the fight when things weren’t going smoothly. Words were exchanged, there were some moves that aren’t allowed, in the sixth round the referee called off the fight and let’s just say Gotti wasn’t too happy about it. Gotti ignored the referee and continued to try to fight Mayweather, his actions sparked a mass brawl inside the ring, people from both Mayweather and Gotti’s teams got involved.

At the end of it all, Gotti III has been suspended for six months in the state of Florida for causing an all-out brawl, but there have been talks about a rematch between Mayweather and Gotti III. As of now, if the duo wants a rematch in Florida, it would have to be in December, but there’s always a possibility of it happening in another city, we will have to wait and see.
