Freddie Prinze Jr officially joins Sony’s highly-anticipated ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ sequel.
Prinze will reprise the role of Ray Bronson from the original 1997 movie and its 1998 follow-up. Not official, yet, but Jennifer Love Hewitt is in talks to reprise her role in the sequel.
The previously announced cast includes Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Haur-King.
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson will direct the sequel, written by Sam Lansky and Kaytin Robinson, it’ll open in theaters on July 18, 2025.
