Goldenvoice Surf Club has announced ‘Expression Sessions’ pro-surf competition during both weekends of Coachella (April 12 & 13, April 19 & 20) alongside musical programming.
Held in the wave pool, pro-surfers will compete for $4,000 in cash prizes in ‘Best Air,’ ‘Best Wave,’ and ‘Most Creative’ categories. Surf talent includes Jacob “Zeke” Szekely, Blair Conklin, Jett Schilling, Chance Gaul + more TBA.
Weekend One (April 12 & 13) musical lineup highlights include Sammy Virji, Chris Lorenzo, Fcukers (DJ Set), ATRIP, Sara Landry, Rico Nasty, VTSS, Kitty Ca$h. Weekend Two (April 19 & 20) musical lineup highlights include Polo & Pan (DJ Set), Ben Böhmer, Maribou State (DJ Set), Josh Conway (The Marías), Eli Brown, Max Styler, Massano.
The Palm Springs Surf Club offers a one-of-a-kind desert haven for this groundbreaking event. A vast grass amphitheater stage seamlessly extends into the venue’s cutting-edge wave pool area; guests can drift along the lazy river, plunge down waterslides, or unwind in luxury cabanas all while soaking in panoramic views of the San Jacinto Mountains before making their way to the dancefloor. Wellness experiences and top-tier food and beverage offerings are woven throughout, including the event’s official sustainable water partner, Drip.
