Jack Black is heading into the Minecraft universe, he’s set to star alongside Jason Momoa in the live-action adaptation.
Black’s role is currently unknown, but rumor has it he’s going to play Steve the main controlled character in Minecraft. No word who Momoa will play, but we do know that Jared Hess will direct the film with Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Eugene Hansen also set to star.
The film’s producers include Roy Lee, Jon Berg, Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Momoa, Torfi Frans Olafsson, Vu Bui and the late Jill Messick. EPs are Todd Hallowell, Kayleen Walters, Brian Mendoza and Jonathan Spaihts.
