It’s official, powerhouse horror production companies, Jason Blum’s Blumhous and James Wan’s Atomic Monster have merged.
The companies had previously worked together on films including 2010’s Insidious, 2023’s global hit M3GAN, and most recently Night Swim which is now playing in theaters. Both companies have a first look deal with Universal, Blumhouse and Atomic Monster will work as separate labels and retain creative independence, there is a three-way ownership structure split by Blum, the majority owner; Wan; and Comcast, the parent company of NBCUniversal.
