KISS, the hottest rock band of all time, announces fan-designed merchandise after a successful crowdsourced design campaign, facilitated by Creative Allies, inviting fans to submit original designs featuring “KISSified” animals.
The campaign, which resulted in 184 unique designs, encouraged worldwide engagement from KISS fans and designers to submit original artwork that blended KISS’s legendary aesthetic and attitude with all types of animals, using KISS’s trademarked makeup as inspiration.
The KISS campaign was a result of a partnership between Epic Rights, a global branding, licensing, and rights management company and Creative Allies, a Raleigh N.C.-based online brand design, and social engagement platform with more than 130,000 content creators.
The design campaign ran during October 2017 with fans and designers alike voting for their favorite designs. KISS selected five winning designs, including the Grand Prize winner Katherine Young who will receive $1,000 in cash.
