Colombian twins Lucia and Laura, internationally known as Las Villa release their new 3-song EP ‘Sonata de un Perreo.’
Their first releases are a version – Las Villa style – of important reggaeton hits such as “Down” (Rakim & Ken-Y) and “Fanática Sensual” (Plan B), songs that marked their lives and their incursion into the urban genre. It also features a remake of “Te Pintaron Pajaritos”, a hit that has been around for more than a decade and was performed by Andy Rivera ft. Yandar & Yostin.

Visually Down is the “weird” or more “alternative” track. This whole project is about decontextualizing everything and mixing pieces that have nothing to do with each other but somehow have been present in our lives. We explore an Asian aesthetic from the look and an elevated styling in contrast with a disruptive and even trashy space. We counterpose art, artworks and classic styles with artificial intelligence.
