Leonardo Aguilar Honored at SESAC Latina Music Awards

In celebration of its 30th anniversary of representing the world’s most successful and influential composers, SESAC Latina Music Awards honored Leonardo Aguilar with an emblematic award for his song “No me hablen de amor.”

The song was written by Leonardo Aguilar and Gussy Lau, and is performed by his father, the legendary Pepe Aguilar, and the Tejano and Norteño music group Intocable.

Leonardo Aguilar continues to add to his successes, being nominated in the 21st annual “Premios Juventud” in the category “La mezcla perfecta” with the song “Por el Contrario,” performed by his sister Angela Aguilar and the talented Becky G.

That’s not all, Leonardo Aguilar reached number five on Billboard’s “Regional Mexican Airplay” chart with “Bandido de amores,” a tribute to the legendary singer and songwriter Joan Sebastian from his album “Soy Como Quiero Ser.” This marks the second time Leonardo Aguilar has appeared on this prestigious list.
