NYC-based Controller released their new track, “Midnight Man.”
“Midnight Man” is a synth-driven dance party anthem with a gigantic hook and and layer upon layer of infectious synths and guitars. The single is the third from their highly anticipated sophomore release, the No Future EP.
Jon Bellinger (Controller’s frontman) describes the band’s inspiration for the track as having wanted to write “a shameless club banger, but sung from the perspective of someone you would never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever even consider going home with. Like, he thinks he’s really smooth but he’s the only one not in on how ridiculous he is, and it’s getting closer and closer to last call.”
