Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Logic has released “Pipeline,” a groundbreaking new track that confronts one of America’s most pressing issues – gun violence and illegal gun trafficking.
The powerful anthem features a guest verse from fellow Maryland hip-hop artist Oddisee and backing vocals from Resonate Baltimore, a Baltimore-area children’s choir, adding a powerful layer of local authenticity to the track and marking a poignant homecoming for the Maryland native.
Logic said:
Growing up in Maryland, I saw how gun violence tears apart families and communities—it’s an issue that hits close to home and feels deeply personal to me.
I contributed to this powerful project in the way I know best—through music and lyrics—telling the story of The Iron Pipeline and the impact it has. My hope is that this initiative helps create a better, safer future for the next generation.
The track debuts alongside a gripping short film that follows the journey of illegal firearms along the Iron Pipeline. The visual narrative, produced in partnership with LifeBridge Health and creative agency StrawberryFrog, showcases Logic’s masterful storytelling abilities while highlighting a crucial social issue affecting his home state.
