The kings and queens of cumbia, Los Angeles Azules brought their De Iztapalapa Para el Mundo tour to the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA for not one but two sold-out shows.
Los Angeles Azules delivered a two-hour-long show, the sold-out crowd was up and dancing from start to finish. LAA performed some of their biggest hits including “Cómo Te Voy a Olvidar,” “Cumbia a La Gente,” “17 Años,” “Nunca es Suficiente,” just to name a few.
Jay De La Cueva from Moderatto joined Los Angeles Azules on stage and performed a cumbia/rock rendition of “17 Años” and even delivered an almost five-minute long guitar solo that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Argentinian singer-songwriter Angela Leiva joined the cumbia legends on stage and performed “El Listón de Tu Pelo,” and “Otra Noche,” she even received a bouquet of roses during a performance from a fan in the crowd.
