Latin music legends Los Angeles Azules along with La Sonora Dinamita and Grupo Cañaveral had over 17 thousand music fans singing and dancing during Cumbia At The Bowl on September 16.
Due to Los Angeles traffic, we missed La Sonora Dinamita’s opening set, but we talked to a couple of attendees and they told us that the band delivered an unforgettable set that included all their biggest hits. They performed “Amor De Mis Amores,” “Mi CuCu,” “Oye,” just to name a few.
Grupo Cañaveral delivered an energetic Cumbia set including “Tiene Espinas El Rosal,” “Echarme Al Olvido,” “No Te Voy a Perdonar,” and more. The band’s lead singer even went into the pit and performed a couple of songs alongside fans and danced with them.
Los Angeles Azules delivered an unforgettable set from start to finish. Not only did they perform some of their biggest hits including “El listón de tu pelo”, “Cómo te voy a olvidar”, “17 años”, “Las maravillas de la vida”, “Cumbia del infinito”, “Mi niña mujer”, “Ay amor” y “Entrega de amor,” and other big hits.
To make the night even more unforgettable, Los Angeles Azules were joined by the iconic Los Angeles Philharmonic. They both United and it was magical, Los Angeles Azules and L.A. Philharmonic fused two genres and it was a grand slam.
Cumbia at The Bowl not only celebrated music, it even celebrated the Mexican culture. There were fans in attendance from different parts of the world including El Salvador, Colombia, Brazil, and of course Mexico. It only goes to prove that in a world divided, music can bring us all together even if it’s for a couple of hours to dance under the stars.
We can’t wait for Cumbia at The Bowl 2018!
