Los Bukis made their triumphant return with not one, but two SOLD-OUT shows at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
Marco Antonio Solís, Joel Solís, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio “El Chivo” Cortéz, José Javier Solís, Pedro Sánchez and Jose “Pepe”Guadarrama took the stage in front of an estimated 70 thousand fans. They performed some of their biggest hits including “Tu Cárcel”, “Mi Fantasía” and “Y Ahora Te Vas.”
Growing up in a Mexican household, my parents, especially my mom, would play Los Bukis from morning to afternoon. I remember walking around the house asking myself “what is this?,” but as I grew up, I learned to appreciate the music. Los Bukis are a staple of Mexican music and culture, my personal favorite song is “Tu Cárcel,” to have had the opportunity to watch them perform that song live was simply phenomenal. I had goosebumps, I can just imagine how they felt up on stage, watching Los Bukis perform is an experience, an experience that everyone has to witness.
“Una historia cantada” is a once-in-a-lifetime reunion tour, if you have the opportunity to see Los Bukis, do it. They’ll be at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 4th & 5th. On September 10th and 11th, Marco Antonio will perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas alongside special guests to celebrate the National Holidays and will then re-join the tour for performances at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on September 15th and Houston’s NRG Stadium on September 18th. The band has already added more dates at San Antonio’s Alamodome (September 25th) and Oakland’s RingCentral Coliseum (October 1st and 2nd.)
