In “Mami,” the band narrates a story about being in love and infatuated with a beautiful woman. Sonically, the danceable song hits the band’s signature sound by featuring a rhythmic bass, melodic brass instruments, and a dancing accordion that makes their norteño sax a force to be reckoned with.
Co-written by the lead vocalist Geovanni Flores, the Mexican-American group is continuously cementing itself as one of norteño sax’s most innovative faces in the subgenre.
