Get ready to dance, Love Regenerator aka Calvin Harris has released the music video for latest single “Live Without Your Love (feat. Steve Lacy).”
Directed by Emil Nava, who has worked creatively with producer Adam Wiles for many years across his Calvin Harris projects, the video features a virtual world that feels both futuristic and nostalgic, with a 3D look into a city speaker store called “Steve’s Speaker Store”. Lacy’s visual playground includes subtle cameos from Wiles throughout.
Harris introduced Love Regenerator back in January, a new tech-house/acid-house project. Why? Harris whose real name is Adam Wiles had this to say:
I wanted to rediscover the way I originally began producing music 22 years ago before I ever thought about how it might be perceived by outside forces. Just pure fun and experimentation with what sounded good to me. The records are inspired by early rave, breaks, techno and house, the music I was obsessed with growing up. In fact, I’ve done everything I can to make them sound like they’ve come from a 1991 time capsule. Every synth and sound used is from that time period.
Not to be confused, Calvin Harris is still around, it is now time for Love Regenerator to shine and the future looks bright.
