Celebrate Halloween with wrestlers, burlesque dancers, and a Fantasma at The Mayan on October 23rd and 24th, the return of LuchaVAVOOM!
Los Angeles’ longest-running, most celebrated action-packed variety show will treat its hometown faithful to a huge helping of good vs. evil, professional lucha libre-style wrestling straight from Mexico City, Tijuana, Guadalajara, and Juarez (think WWE with more action).
In between matches, the finest handpicked burlesque acts will wow the crowds with high-octane performances and their unique striptease skills, including raucous aerial acts. Fans are encouraged to wear costumes to this 21+ event and tickets are still available at LuchaVaVOOM.com.
The wrestling card for “Fiesta Fantasma” features world-class, professional lucha libre-style matches.
Wednesday’s super estrella headline match will feature Magno Oscuro and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Rey Horus and Soberano Jr. (making his LVV debut).
Thursday’s headline match features the world-famous Lucha brothers PENTA Zero Miedo (AAA World Tag Team Champion) and Rey Fenix (AAA Mega Champion) vs. Rey Horus and Soberano Jr.
The wrestling card for both nights features Dr. Maldad and Nurse Ratchet vs. two-time Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkrie and the King of Don-style Joey Ryan; plus The Sexi Mexi’s vs. the Crazy Chickens with more to be announced.
If the wrestling and burlesque weren’t enough, Sex-positive Queer artist Brooke Candy was just announced as LVV’s surprise musical guest. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the rapper, singer, songwriter, and stylist who has toured alongside Charli XCX and Lizzo, also headlining her own tour throughout Asia. Candy’s first full-length album SEXORCISM is due out October 25th featuring the single “Drip” (feat. Erika Jayne).
