Maluma, Latin music’s youth idol, box-office phenomenon and social media leader has just achieved a new milestone by breaking the record for most views for a Spanish-language music video in a 24 hour period on Vevo/YouTube, having reached 9.3 million views in the first 24 hours of his latest music video, “Felices Los 4.”
Maluma is the only act to have six songs in YouTube’s top 50 daily most-watched videos and is consistently at the top of the global viewership charts. Among his current videos, “Chantaje” (Shakira ft. Maluma) has surpassed one billon views on VEVO/YouTube; “Vente Pa ‘Ca” (Ricky Martin ft. Maluma) 800 million and “Sin Contrato” 600 million.
“Felices Los 4” was written by Maluma, Servando Primera, Mario Cáceres and Miky La Sensa and produced by The Rude Boys (Kevin ADG y Chan El Genio), producers of “Chantaje”, “Borró Cassette” and “El Perdedor”, among others. The sexy video was shot in Los Angeles by renown director Jessy Terrero and it co-stars Hollywood actor Wilmer Valderrama and model Natalia Barulich.
“Felices Los 4” is the first track released off Maluma’s highly anticipated upcoming album X which is set to drop later this year.
