Matisse Team Up with Luis Mexia on New Collab, “Okay”

Matisse have done it again, another infectious track, this time with Luis Mexia on “Okay,” the follow-up to “Necesito un Favor.”

After the aforementioned “Necesito un Favor“, this is the second composition written and directed entirely by Pablo Preciado, who with Matisse and through his sought-after collaborations with figures such as Edén Muñoz, Carin Leon, Intocable and Los Tucanes de Tijuana, had previously explored Mexican music fused with ballads, giving them a completely different twist.

Matisse had this to say:

Who hasn’t wanted to close a cycle and just can’t?

It’s like you want to leave everything behind, but it grabs you down on Sunday and you end up writing to that person that you don’t get out of your head. You get grabbed by the toxic and you write: I wish you wanted me the same, but, okay, I’ll leave you alone I just wanted to tell you.
