Critically acclaimed Max Original medical drama THE PITT, from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television, created by R. Scott Gemmill and starring Noah Wyle, has been renewed for a second season.
New episodes of the 15-episode first season debut on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET leading up to the season finale on April 10.
THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.
Since its debut, the new Max Original has landed and stayed as the streamer’s most-watched title globally, while earning positive reviews from critics, including a 93% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.
