Moby Shares Video For “where is your pride?” Feat. Benjamin Zephaniah

Acclaimed New York City-based electronic musician, producer, and activist Moby has shared the official video for current single “where is your pride?“, a collaboration with the late Benjamin Zephaniah.

The video has been approved by Zephaniah’s family and is a celebration of his life’s work. The propulsive, break-beat-driven track is spoken word with a powerful message delivered in the dub poet’s characteristically warm burr.

Benjamin Zephaniah was a British writer, dub poet, actor, musician, and professor of poetry and creative writing. He was included in The Times list of Britain’s top 50 post-war writers in 2008. He won the BBC Radio 4 Young Playwrights Festival Award in 1998 and was the recipient of at least sixteen honorary doctorates. Zephaniah was also a vegan and animal rights activist.

Moby will perform for two special evenings of Moby Pod Live in Los Angeles at The Masonic Lodge on May 30th and May 31st. The events will serve as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Play and will feature Moby performing acoustically with strings and guest vocalists, sharing stories behind the songs, and more. It will also provide a chance to purchase a copy of always centered at night early.
