‘MTV Spring Break’ returns to Cancún with scorching performances from Tyga, Rae Sremmurd, and Zara Larsson

Nothing says “MTV Spring Break” like sizzling weather, poolside parties and high-energy performances from some of the hottest established and emerging artists. Tyga, Rae Sremmurd and Zara Larsson are among the featured artists confirmed to perform as the legendary event makes its 2019 return.

DJ Pauly D (“Jersey Shore”) is set to appear, while Justina Valentine (“Wild N’ Out”) and Vinny Guadagnino (“Jersey Shore”) host from the Grand Oasis Cancún Hotel in Cancún, Mexico.

Beginning March 23- 28, MTV and MTV.com will be the ultimate destinations to catch exclusive performances and Spring Break-themed programming featuring MTV talent and thousands of young people celebrating a quintessential rite of passage.

“MTV Spring Break” programming includes:

  • Performance packagesfrom the 2019 line-up will air in rotation between programming beginning Saturday, March 23 on MTV. Additionally, fans can check out the on-the-ground action and editorial content across MTV.com and MTV’s social channels.
  • Spring Break Edition After Shows: Themed after shows of “Siesta Key” (Tuesday, March 26 at 10pm ET/PT) and “The Challenge: War of the Worlds” (Wednesday, March 27 at 10pm ET/PT) will feature special moments from Cancún as stars from the series hit the beach to catch up with spring breakers for hilarious interviews, beach-themed challenges and more.
  • Spring Break Edition Reunion Special: “Ex on the Beach” Reunion PT. 1 (Thursday, March 28 at 8pm ET/PT) will feature segments from MTV Spring Break as stars from the series hit the beach to interview spring breakers about their own experiences with love and relationships.

“MTV Spring Break” is among the most storied franchises in MTV history, having hosted artists from Lil Wayne to P!nk along with thousands of young people in locations throughout the Caribbean and American South.
