Nicky Jam is today’s New Music Daily cover star on Apple Music. He FaceTimes Zane Lowe to talk about the track, “Muévelo.” He said he instantly knew he wanted Daddy Yankee on the track, and the pair feel it will be a “global hit.”
“Muévelo” contains elements of Ini Kamoze’s 1994 classic “Here Comes the Hotstepper” and Nicky wanted to give the kids a refresher on this seminal track. The song will appear on the Bad Boys 3 soundtrack, out Jan 10. Nicky says he has a long scene in the film, which is his second movie appearance [he was also in xXx: Return of Xander Cage].
Bad Boys 3 arrives in theaters on January 17th.
