Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, Olivia O’Brien continues to provoke the extremes of post-modern era romance in “Better Than Feeling Lonely,” her brand new stripped track + music video.
The original version of “Better Than Feeling Lonely” was released January 1st as a fan appreciation track and drew amazing support out the gate. The music video is a black and white retro/mod ’70s-inspired performance visual directed by Another Realm (Elizabeth Miranda and Jacqueline Kulla) at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood.
“Better Than Feeling Lonely,” written by Olivia, follows the overwhelming back-to-back successes of “Josslyn” (released in May), with over 124 million global streams, from The Results Of My Poor Judgment, the second in Olivia’s ongoing series of innovative micromixtape drops (February 2020); and “NOW” (September) which paid homage to Akon’s “Right Now (Na Na Na)” and turned into one of Olivia’s biggest songs to date.
