Paper Jackets Pay Tribute to Kenny Rogers, Cover “The Gambler”

In an effort to pay tribute to a musical icon, Los Angeles-based alt-pop band Paper Jackets have unveiled their unique cover of Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler”

The cover was created with each member of the band quarantined throughout Southern California and then placed together into one unique video.

Most recently, the band released their first new music of the year with the effervescent “What They Call a Life.” Taking on the idea that “nothing really lasts forever”, this song is a reminder that there are so many opportunities to make life the best version it can be for yourself.

Paper Jackets deliver a unique, sleek sound that equally takes its cues from the current crop of genre peers like Walk The Moon, Smallpools, CHVRCHES, and Cherry Pools, but also legendary acts like The Ronettes and The Beach Boys.
