Paulina Rubio Delivers a Hits Filled Set and Pays Homage to Late Mother at Long Beach Pride 2022

Queen of Latin Pop, Paulina Rubio made her highly-anticipated return to the stage following the passing of her mother Susana Dosamantes with a performance at Long Beach Pride 2022.

Rubio’s spirit shined as bright as gold while she performed her songs before an audience that received her with a touching display of overwhelming love and care. She performed some of her biggest hits including “Yo No Soy Esa Mujer,” “Causa y Efecto,” “Lo Hare Por Ti,” “Y Yo Sigo Aqui,” “Boys Will Be Boys,” “Ni Una Sola Palabra,” and more.

In a special moment, Rubio paid tribute to her mother. As tears fell from her eyes, the singer asked the crowd for a big round of applause, a request that they immediately and enthusiastically granted, yelling and clapping in support of their idol and the woman who made her into the very special person that the world knows today. Paulina has always made it clear that her fans are part of her family, and she thanked all those she encountered there for the extraordinary love that they extended to her and for accompanying her on such an important day, not only for the LGBTQ+ community but for her as well.
