Peacock hosted the world premiere event of its highly anticipated Peacock Original film THEY/THEM at The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA during the 2022 Outfest Los Angeles Film Festival.

Guests included Creator, Director, Writer, and Executive Producer John Logan, Executive Producer and star Kevin Bacon, and stars Carrie Preston, Theo Germaine, Austin Crute, Quei Tann, Monique Kim, Darwin Del Fabro, Cooper Koch, and Anna Lore.

The event featured an exclusive screening of the film delivered to a full house of enthusiastic festival attendees and horror fans. Prior to the screening Perfume Genius surprised the crowd with a celebratory live performance and following the screening guests attended Peacock’s after-party hosted at the Ace Hotel Rooftop in Downtown LA. They were fully immersed into the THEY/THEM world.

Kevin Bacon plays Owen Whistler in this slasher horror film set at an LGBTQIA+ conversion camp. Several queer and trans campers join Whistler for a week of programming intended to “help them find a new sense of freedom”. As the camp’s methods become increasingly more psychologically unsettling, the campers must work together to protect themselves. When a mysterious killer starts claiming victims, things get even more dangerous.
