Singer-songwriter, Roisin O’Hagan digs deep and drops an angsty, playful track titled “Midnight Indigo.”
“Midnight Indigo” narrates the story of two people and the toxic dynamic between them, O’Hagan said:
There is some kind of undeniable, toxic passion between them that neither can leave alone. That is until eventually one takes the power and leaves the situation with no real explanation, apology or closure.
The angsty track is fuelled with driving guitars, upbeat percussion, and move-inducing melodies. Through determined vocals and storytelling lyrics that are both honest and playfully blunt, Roisin chants, “You’re a nightmare and I can’t stop dreaming, if not us then who do I believe in, in another life I’d be running from you.”
